Ms Shweta Ghildiyal
I was born into a Brahmin Pahadi family in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, and grew up surrounded by the love and traditions of a joint family. My schooling took place in Haridwar, followed by engineering studies in Jaipur. From an early age, my home resonated with historical series on TV and the sight of family members deeply engaged in prayers and rituals.
Listening to countless stories about gods and their adventures, lovingly shared by my parents and grandmother, ignited a lifelong fascination with history. This passion became a constant companion, evolving alongside my academic and professional journey.
Over the past nine years of corporate life, my love for exploring ancient tales and their wisdom has remained steadfast. Writing became a natural extension of this interest—a way to interpret and share the timeless stories that have inspired me since childhood.
Now, I am overjoyed to present my debut novel—a heartfelt tribute to the rich heritage of our past and a celebration of the lessons and insights that continue to resonate through time.
